How to Create a Subscription for a Marketplace Product
Step 1: Navigate to the Marketplace
Access the Marketplace section to view available products and services.
Where to find it: Main navigation menu in Unity, typically labeled "Marketplace" or accessible from the main dashboard
What you'll see: The Marketplace page opens, displaying available products and services organized by category or type.
Step 2: Browse Available Products and Services
Review the marketplace to identify products or services that meet your customer's needs.

What you'll see: A list or grid of available products and services with names, descriptions, and key features displayed.
Step 3: Click See Details on a Product
Select a product to view detailed information before making your choice.
Where to find it: On each product card or listing, look for a "See Details" button or link
What you'll see: A product details page opens, showing comprehensive information including features, specifications, pricing, requirements, and any configuration options.
Step 4: Review Product Information
Examine the product details to ensure it meets your customer's requirements.

Step 5: Configure the Product (If Applicable)
Customize the product settings, options, or parameters to match your customer's specific needs.

What you'll see: Configuration options appear, allowing you to select features, set parameters, choose add-ons, or specify quantities based on the product type.
Step 6: Select the Customer Account
Choose the customer account that will receive this marketplace product or service.
Where to find it: On the subscription page, look for a customer selection field, dropdown, or search option
What you'll see: A customer selector opens, allowing you to search for and select the appropriate customer account from your customer list.
Step 7: Review Subscription Summary
Verify all subscription details including product selection, configuration, customer account, and pricing before completing the purchase.
Where to find it: On the subscription page, typically displayed as a subscription summary or review section
What you'll see: A summary showing the selected product, any configurations made, the associated customer account, pricing breakdown, and total cost.
Step 8: Complete the Subscription
Finalize the purchase to create the subscription for the marketplace product.
Where to find it: On the subscription page, look for a "Place Order", "Complete Subscription", or "Submit" button
What you'll see: A confirmation message appears indicating the subscription was successfully created. You may be redirected to a confirmation page, the subscription details, or the customer's profile where the new subscription appears.
Expected Result
A marketplace product subscription is successfully created for the selected customer account. The product or service is activated and associated with their account.
You'll know it worked when: You see a confirmation message indicating the subscription was successfully created, and the new subscription appears in the customer's subscription history or profile with the product details you configured.
Common Tasks
Viewing Customer Subscriptions
Access the customer's subscription history to view subscriptions created from the marketplace, including active subscriptions and their details.

- Tip: Review product details thoroughly before placing an order to ensure the product meets your customer's requirements and includes all necessary features.
- Note: Some marketplace products may require specific prerequisites or configurations. Review the product details page for any requirements before ordering.
- Important: When you complete an order, it automatically converts to a subscription for the selected customer. The subscription becomes active immediately and will appear in the customer's subscription history.
