This article discusses how to configure Polycom SoundStation conference phones to work with Cytracom UCaaS.

Description
Polycom SoundStation conference phones can be manually configured using the phone's local web interface and the SIP credentials from the Cytracom portal.
Procedure
Configure the phone
Before you start, open the extension that will be assigned to the phone in Cytracom's portal, then click SIP Config under Routing & Configuration. Keep this page open so you can copy the SIP username and password.
The default login information for Polycom SoundStation phones is:
- Username: Polycom
- Password: 456
1. Log into the phone's local IP address using a web browser on the same network as the phone.
2. Click Lines.
3. Enter the desired display name in the Display Name field.
4. Enter the SIP username from the extension's SIP Config page in the Address field.
5. Enter the same SIP username in the Authentication User ID field.
6. Enter the SIP password from the extension's SIP Config page in the Authentication Password field.
7. Enter the desired phone label in the Label field.
8. Under Server 1, set Address to register.cytracom.net.
9. Under Server 1, set Port to 5060.
10. Under Outbound Proxy, set Address to register.cytracom.net.
11. Under Outbound Proxy, set Port to 5060.
12. Under Message Center, enter the SIP username in the Subscriber field.
13. Set Callback Mode to Contact.
14. Set Callback Contact to * followed by the extension number. For example, if the extension is 101, enter *101.
15. Click Save. The phone will reboot to apply the changes.
Once the phone finishes rebooting, it should register to Cytracom.
Reset the device
If the device needs to be reset, use the steps below.
1. Press Menu on the phone.
2. Navigate to Settings > Advanced.
3. Enter the password 456.
4. Navigate to Admin Settings > Reset Device Config.
5. Confirm the reset.
The device will reboot and factory default settings will be restored.
