How to configure Grandstream GRP series phones

Topic

This article discusses how to configure Grandstream GRP series phones to work with Cytracom UCaaS.

Environment

  • Cytracom UCaaS

Description

Grandstream GRP series phones not purchased through Cytracom must be manually configured using the phone's local web interface and the SIP credentials from the Cytracom portal.

Procedure

Before you start

Before configuring the phone, open the extension that will be assigned to the device in Cytracom's portal, then click SIP Config under Routing & Configuration. Keep this page open so you can copy the SIP username and SIP password.

Make sure the phone is connected to the network and has received an IP address.

Access the web interface

1. Log into the local IP address of the phone using a web browser on the same network as the phone.

2. Log in using the phone's administrator credentials.

Note: If the administrator password is unknown, the phone may need to be factory reset before it can be configured.
