Cytracom ControlOne: Adding users via Microsoft Entra ID (Formerly Azure Active Directory)

This article discusses how to add tenant users via Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) in ControlOne

Environment

  • Cytracom ControlOne

Description

This procedure is for making tenant users only. See Creating and managing partner user accounts to learn how to set up partner accounts. 

Before you start

Make sure you have the correct tenant selected in the ControlOne Portal.

Procedure

1. In the ControlOne Portal, click Users & Groups in the Navigation menu.

2. Click the Users tab at the top of the page, then click the Add User button.

4. A dialog box will appear. Click the Sync External Directory button, then click Next

5. A dialog box will appear prompting you to connect to an external directory. If you are currently connected to a directory, ControlOne will warn you that the new directory will replace your current group and zone mappings.

6. The system will redirect you to the Microsoft Entra ID login screen. Choose your account and follow the prompts to connect your directory.
