Do not disturb mode allows a user to divert calls from their extension to a variety of routes by pressing the mute key. This is seen on the phone as a microphone with a line through it. A large red circle will appear on the user’s screen and the words DO NOT DISTURB. The mute key is shown below. 

       

A few options for rerouting calls are:

  • Forwarding to a different extension 

Ask a System Administrator to help with these settings.

Note: If the extension is part of a ring group, the incoming call will simply ring the other extensions in the group. In order to disengage the DND feature, press the mute key a second time.
