Overview
Centrally manage, preview, and download audio files for your UCaaS system's announcements, greetings, and menu prompts from a single location.

Use Case: Quickly access and reuse existing audio files for UCaaS system configurations without recreating files, streamlining workflow and ensuring consistency across your phone system.
Who Should Use This: Administrators managing UCaaS audio files, announcements, greetings, or menu prompts.
Prerequisites
- [ ] Admin role or higher permissions
- [ ] Access to PBX features in the UCaaS platform
How to Manage Media Files in Media Hub
Step 1: Navigate to PBX Features
Select PBX from the top navigation menu.
Where to find it: Top navigation bar of the UCaaS platform
What you'll see: PBX features and options become available
Step 2: Enable Advanced Menu
Click the advanced menu toggle.
Where to find it: Within the PBX section interface
What you'll see: Advanced menu options become visible
Step 3: Access Media Hub
Click Media Hub to view and manage your phone system's audio files.
Where to find it: In the advanced menu options after enabling the advanced menu toggle
What you'll see: The Media Hub interface displaying your audio files
Step 4: Search for Audio Files
Enter the audio file name in the search field to quickly find specific files.
Where to find it: Search field in the Media Hub interface
What you'll see: Filtered results matching your search query
Step 5: Filter by Resource Type
Select a resource type from the filter options to streamline your search.

What you'll see: Files filtered to show only the selected resource type
Step 6: Review Media Entries
Review each media entry in the resource table to identify the file you need.

What you'll see: List of media files with details displayed in table format
Step 7: Verify Audio File Type
Check the audio file type column to confirm it's the correct file format.

What you'll see: File type information (e.g., WAV) displayed for each media entry
Step 8: Preview Audio File
Click the Play button to preview the audio file before downloading.
Where to find it: Play button in the resource table row for each media entry
What you'll see: Audio playback begins, allowing you to hear the file content
Step 9: Download Audio File
Click the download option to download your chosen WAV file.
Where to find it: Download control in the resource table row for each media entry
What you'll see: WAV file downloads to your device for immediate access and reuse
Expected Result
After completing these steps, you can efficiently manage your phone system's audio files by searching, filtering, previewing, and downloading files as needed. The Media Hub provides centralized access to all your audio resources, eliminating the need to recreate files and streamlining your workflow.
You'll know it worked when: You can successfully search for, preview, and download audio files from the Media Hub interface, and the downloaded WAV files are available on your device for reuse in your phone system configurations.
